Our Club
Rotary Club Warsaw International was formed in 2023 through a merger of two established Rotary Clubs Warszawa-Wilanów and Sobieski.
Originally Rotary Club Warszawa Wilanów was established on 7th April 1995 as the first international, English speaking Rotary Club in Poland. From it‘s very beginnings it has been set out bringing together active foreigners living in Warsaw. Our founding members were Selwyn Gester, Andrzej Gasiński, Janusz Krzaczek, Kjell Magnusson and Gunnar Fjällander.
Rotary Club Sobieski was founded in 2005 and its first founding member and President was Andrzej Smólski
In the past, like today, Rotary club membership represents a cross-section of the community’s business and professional men and women. Our members are businessmen, foreign diplomats and other professionals representing almost a dozen nationalities.
Rotary is a non-profit, non-governmental, non-political and non-religious organization, whose members are concerned about global problems. Our success is made possible by the substantial and dedicated support of our members, using their professional skills and talents to help those in need.
